Open a sealed kit

Sealed is the format of a pre-release: you open a kit, and you build a deck out of what you opened. Nothing else. This simulator deals you a kit from the real Welcome to Night City card list so you can practise the format before the event, as many times as you want.

Leave it empty for a random kit. Two players entering the same code open exactly the same six packs, which is how you practise head to head.

What the kit holds

  • 6 booster packs of 12 cards
  • 1 Legend pack: 3 random Legends

75 cards in your pool

The official kit also holds one Nova Rare promo card. It is a single fixed card, so it is not simulated here.

The sealed deck rules

  • Exactly 3 Legends of your choice, from your Legend pack or from your boosters.
  • A main deck of at least 30 cards, Legends not counted.
  • Up to 3 different colours in the main deck, whatever your Legends are.
  • No RAM limit: in sealed you ignore the RAM numbers entirely.
  • No copy limit either. Your pool is the limit: you play what you opened.

How the pool works

  • Everything you open lands in one pool: the 6 boosters and the Legend pack, all mixed together.
  • You build from that pool only. No buying, no trading, no card from outside it.
  • Duplicates count. Open the same card three times and you may play three copies of it.
  • The counter under each card reads copies in the deck / copies you opened.
  • Nothing is ever lost: take a card out of the deck and it goes straight back to the pool.

How a booster is built here

So nobody has to guess what this simulator does, here is the exact model it deals from. A pack is 12 cards, never twice the same card:

Those last two slots upgrade

  • Epic about 1 pack in 4
  • Secret about 1 pack in 24
  • Iconic about 1 pack in 18, taking one of the two slots

The pack size and the Common / Uncommon / Rare split are documented. The upgrade rates are NOT official: the publisher has never printed them, so they are our estimate from community box openings. Treat this as practice, never as a source for pull odds or card values.
